Get your Gut moving & nourish your liver - 3 ingredients for change

Updated: Apr 22

I am always talking to clients about the tiny changes that can have a huge impact on their health. Two key players in how we feel are Gut & Liver.

I talk a lot about Liver being the 'power house' of our bodies; filtering blood, activating and detoxing hormones, helping with our immune system, you name it the liver has a part to play.

Anything that we can do to support this super organ, day to day, whether hydration or tiny food inclusion why would we not?!

LSA stands for a blend of ground linseeds (flax seeds), sunflower seeds, and almonds. This was created by Dr Sandra Cabot and Australian doctor who hit the press with The Liver Cleansing Diet in the 1990's - This mix is an amazing source of dietary fibre, protein, omega fatty acids, minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, copper and zinc, and vitamins A, B, D and E.

This mix also nourishes your liver.

Our livers store vitamins, metabolize fats, and cleanse the body by breaking down toxic wastes so they can be expelled from the body. This is where the gut kicks in to remove waste.

We want our livers firing on all cylinders.

LSA cleanses the liver by supplying it with easily digestible nutrients.

Add it to smoothies; sprinkle it on oatmeal and other cereals; stir it through yogurt, chia pudding, and fruit salad; fortify baked goods; or use it to bind veggie burgers, fruit rolls, and power bars.
